The Integrated Information System on Modern and Contemporary Characters(IISMCC) takes on the entry of Chinese celebrities, and so their biography, official posts, files, oral history rendered. A new compilation had been assumed by re-grouping into different categories in the monographic style. Such a task is also grounded on personal information with cross inference. The database includes personages extending from the Mid-Qing until the Republic of China, covering around 83,000 figures. Pursuant to the categorization, the monographic study covers the Index of Persons in the Modern Historical Documents Full-Text Database, Who's who in Shanghai, Biographical Data in China, Japanese Who's who in China, The Personal Name Authorities Database constructed by the Archives of IMH, and so forth.
