Busy the whole morning writing to P.K., K.F., I.F. and several others.

According to reports from Bai Chongxi, our army scored a really great victory over our enemy in Honan at the end of last month inflicting a loss of over 35,000 to them. As far as the military side is concerned, our position is therefore quite secure and if we can settle our economic problems, we are sure of victory.
