I talked to Deng Zhaoyin again regarding his plan. He intended to talk to Sun Fo about it when it was ready. He also wanted to get assistance from Sun Fo. I told him the latest situation regarding Sun Fo, and that Sun Fo’s recent economic position was not very good either. With regard to funding from Sun Fo, I told Deng Zhaoyin that he should not have high hopes. Deng Zhaoyin knew that too. So he said he was not asking for his funding and  hope that Sun sponsored everything.

I had lunch at Wu Shangying’s home with Deng Zhaoyin and Xie Baoqiao.
