President Roosevelt, in his broadcasting speech the day before yesterday, said amongst other things that China had asked for help from the U.S.A. and it had told her plainly such help would be given. Such a decision by America will not be reversed by threats from powerful enemies abroad or from selfish groups or individuals at home. He expressed admiration for our struggle for freedom under the leadership of Generalissimo Chiang.
