In the afternoon I went with Minister Guo Taiji to the southern bank to see the German and Italian Embassies The transportation was rather inconvenient. Guo Taiji told me that Miss Wu’s name was on Xu Mo’s list. He seemed to be quite discontented with Xu Mo. I urged him regarding the reform of the Ministry’s affairs that it was better for him to reform after Xu Mo leaves. It will be better for both sides.
