Twenty-ninth day of the fifth lunar month

So, President Sun’s judgment is better than mine. Hitler declared war against Soviet Russia yesterday. There must be something very wrong in this world. How can a man be so utterly dishonourable in his dealings and unreliable in his sayings, like Hitler, possibly lead such a great nation like Germany? Are the Germans to be moulded like clay by this dead to honour Austrian? I am afraid I have been brought up in a family which has laid a bit too much weight on morality to understand the “great men” of this world. However, our nation will certainly gain much from this, as it will place our enemy the d–n Japs, in the most awkward position. Are they to stick to the Axis and fight Soviet Russia and probably the U.S.A which means their speedy destruction? Or will they beat a disgraceful retreat from China? Justice will soon be done for us.
