At 3.00 p.m. Dr. Sun Fo called. He told me how Guo Taiji approached him to release me. I said I did not like to leave the Yuan and asked him to help me get released. He said I could certainly retain my relations with the Legislative Yuan but could not see how I could refuse, if ordered by the Generalissimo.
