Ninth day of the first lunar month

Wu Shangying received a telephone message from Chungking to send his car out.  Found out later that President Sun’s eldest daughter had arrived and Lan Ni has moved out. Tak Sang told me that she intends to go and stay with Dr. Wang Chonghui temporarily. But I cannot imagine him to be so foolish as to take her under his roof. Meddling with other people’s family affairs is the surest way of getting into hot water. He is old enough to realise that.
