In the afternoon Xie Welilin came. He told me that he had seen President Chiang but they did not touch on matters of America.

Shaohua and Miss Lin arrived Taipei. Both Shaohua and Zhongxiong attended the banquet of Yutai. I learnt from the conversation with Miss Lin that both Luo and Gao are fine.  Nonetheless, the lawsuit did not go as well as expected. However, Lin had given the money to Luo for disposal so that it could not be transferred. At 10:00 in the evening Shaohua, and others, returned. He read out the appeals and interlocutory appeals of both sides raised in the court. What Lin Zhaoting said was absolutely without shame. I advised Shaohua and Miss Lin to deal with him carefully.
