Fine
I studied Russian from noon until 1.30 in the afternoon.
The Bulgarian Premier made a report in Parliament yesterday, saying that Bulgaria was willing to withdraw from the war, and has despatched people to Turkey in an attempt to negotiate with the Allied representatives. Also he has met the British Ambassador. The withdrawal of Bulgaria certainly has some connections with the German decision that they want to continue the fighting. But it is already too late, and Bulgaria shouldn’t hope that the terms will be very lenient. Also although our Hengyang has been lost, we have been defending the city for over a month and a half, and more than 29,000 enemy troops have been killed. It proves how courageous we are.
