I suffered from diarrhea the whole day. I felt very unwell.

From 4.00 to 6.30 I studied Russian.

At 8.30 in the evening the Afghanistan Ambassador invited me for tea and then he held a bridge party and because I was not competent I could only watch. However, the Head of the American military delegation General Deane and the Greek Ambassador were really excellent at it.
