In the morning I studied Russian. The conjugations were so complicated and it was not easy to memorise.
In the evening, I went with Shaozhou and his wife (Polish) to the 150th anniversary of the liberation of Poland celebration. The British and American Ambassadors did not come. Only the Czechoslovakian Ambassador and the French representative Garreau were present. It reported how Kostyushko started this movement and how he helped with the American Independence. Other speeches followed. I really wanted to leave earlier, but because of Shaozhou’s wife, I had no choice but to wait till the end of the concert.
