As I have not been to a movie house or cinema since I came to Chungking two years ago, I went with Yukun to the Cathay Cinema. But inside the cinema it was so dirty, and the audio effects were also very poor. We stayed no more than ten minutes – then we left to go to a story-telling venue. But that place was much worse! We left after five minutes. Chungking is really lacking in entertainment places.

Chen Shouming (陳守明) made a report. After getting a guarantee from Britain and the United States, Thailand has decided to defend itself against Japan and has joined the stance of Britain and the United States. Still, it is not yet the worst time for breaking-up, so at the moment Thailand is still perfunctory towards Japan. Now Thailand has prepared to fight against the Japanese Fifth Column in Thailand and Wang’s faction collaborators. If Thailand is really invaded by Japan, it will be solely as a result of its actions. As a small and weak country, it wanted to take advantage of others and joined with the enemy to solicit some trivial benefits. As a result, it can now be bullied by the invader. This is an unchanged rule. It is because for small and weak nations, the reason why they can survive solely depends on the so-called morality. If there was no such thing as morality, there would be no way to stop the big one annexing the small one. Those small and weak countries who ignored morality and joined the aggressive group are no different from abolishing the biggest defense line, and inviting others to invade themselves. Those small nations in Europe did not dare to participate in sanctioning the aggressive group, in order to secure one-time peace, but they were invaded as a result. Thailand went one step further in that it joined the aggressive group, with the aim of getting some trivial benefits. I am really worried about Thailand’s prospects.
