 Rain

At ten in the morning we visited the Borghese Gallery and Pantheon.

At noon the Charge d’affaires, Zhu Ying, invited us for a luncheon at the Hunting Club. The food and wine were good. In the afternoon we visited Villa d’Este at Tivoli.

In the evening, eight of us invited Ambassador Yu, Charge d’affaires Zhu, Counselor Wei, Bishop Lo Kuang and Priest Wang, and others to have dinner at Alfredo restaurant, which is famous for its pasta. The food was really delicious. The owner received us on his own, and was very enthusiastic. We returned to the Embassy at eleven.
