At 7:30 a.m., Liu Kai came to say good bye but I had not woken yet.

Guo Dequan came with member Tao. Both of them are convenors of the Diplomatic Committee of the Legislative Yuan. Today there would be a discussion on the nationality of the overseas Chinese of Vietnam. They asked for my opinion. I told them all I knew.

In the afternoon, I went to National Taiwan University hospital to visit Wang Chonghui. His condition is slightly better. I talked with him for about twenty minutes. He was quite happy.

At 6:30 p.m., Wang Shijie invited me to have dinner at his home. The Director of the Asia Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yue Sheng (岳盛), was present. He talked about matters of the Soviet Union in detail.
