The Polish President General Sikorsky died in an airplane accident in Gibraltar. The national fate of Poland is bad. After his death, it will be even more difficult to resume diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union. Poland’s failiure this time is because of lack of leadership.

In the evening, I invited Consul Zhao and his wife to have a meal at the Embassy. His new bride is a native of the Soviet Union.
