Today was the birthday of my father. As the Book of Rites said, during the day of fasting, (we) would think of what the (deceased) enjoy, and in what the (deceased) were interested. When my father was alive, he enjoyed food and eating with others. Therefore, in the evening I invited several friends to eat in my restaurant.
