Fog, Light Rain

Avignon to Paris

I woke up at eight and did not have breakfast until nine. We left the hotel at ten. At eleven fifty we reached Fontainebleau. On the way, the skies were dull and foggy so we drove quite slowly. Luckily we had rushed ourselves for a few miles yesterday, otherwise it would have been quite painful to drive today. As Zhongxiong has not yet visited the palace at Fontainebleau, we went inside to visit. At one in the afternoon the visit ended. We left there to eat lunch at a small restaurant. The food was also good. At a quarter past two we continued. At four we returned home. Our male servant had received my telegram and prepared everything for our return.

Baoqiao and Sun Fo did not return until eleven in the evening.
