Fourth day of the first lunar month

I was invited to give a speech for Memorial Week in the main Nationalist Government Assembly Hall. I talked for about 40 minutes about the War of Resistance diplomatic policies and how they were implemented. At 5.00 in the afternoon we went to Governor Sheng’s to talk about the latest diplomatic situation and the Generalissimo’s instructions which he understood well. Then we talked about the Party doctrines. Since he had studied Marxism in the past, he delved particularly deeply into the Three Principles of the People. I was afraid that the Party headquarter members who were dispatched by the Central Government would be unable to convince him. Today was my birthday. I wrote to Fanny, Kitty, Shangying, Baoqiao, and Wanchun.
