Fine, sun
This morning, Pravda had a long essay about the two agreements between the Soviet Union and Japan, which was similar to Izvestia. In the evening the head of the British naval delegation, Admiral Fisher, invited me to the banquet and introduced the new Military Attaché, General Montagu Brocas Burrows, to me. Reporters asked for my opinion about the new agreement between the Soviet Union and Japan. I said I could not say anything until I had received the instructions of my Government. Admiral Fisher and General Burrows told me that the Japanese Embassy in the Soviet Union and attachés celebrated it the night before yesterday, and asked the staff of the Bulgarian Embassy to join them. Garreau told Jingchen that this move of the Soviet Union’s was bad for the Allies, and for China in particular. He is right.
