At half past ten we had breakfast at George V coffee shop,

From eleven to three in the afternoon I visited the Musée du Louvre with Kitty. I explained to her about the various sections on stone scriptures of Egypt and Greece, as well as the oil paintings of Italy in great detail. At four in the afternoon we returned to hotel to take a rest.

At half past five, Geng Chengzhi came to talk with me about his business. He also invited us to have supper at his home. I tactfully declined, and we ate dinner at the Shanglong restaurant at seven. After dinner, I accompanied Mr. Zhang Han to a coffee shop in Pigalle where we listened to the performance of a female band. I did not return to the hotel until half past eleven. At midnight, Chengyong came around and we talked until 1.30 in the morning.
