I paid a return visit to the Mexican Ambassador.

Yesterday I felt pain on the left side of my belly. This morning the doctor came and said I had a gall bladder problem, and he told me to be more careful with food. Since I arrived here, food has always been a problem. I am not a gourmet, but in China everything I ate was cooked, and certainly not cold. Here, everything we eat is cold, and even the bread is stale. The meat and fish we eat are mainly raw. There is nothing much I can do. In middle age our resistance is so much weaker, I don’t know what will happen later on.
