Yesterday the declaration which came from the talks between Chairman Chiang and Wallace mentioned democratic rule and a government working for the benefit of the people.

In the evening I went to the circus with Jingchen, Deputy Military Attaché‎s Zhou and Shi and Attaché‎ Hu. All the performances were by people from Uzbek and they were good. There were three Chinese in the circus.
