I learnt Italian on my own.

The Japanese Prime Minister reported to the House of Councillors, saying that Japan coming into a treaty with the Nationalist Government was suggested by the American side so that it would be easier for American Congress to pass through the peace treaty with Japan, and the British side would not be opposed to it.
