Because Secretary Shi, and Attaché Zhao returned to China, I wrote to Presidents Sun,Yu,Kung, Liu Jisheng, Ma Chaojun, Chan Chak, Shangying, Baoqiao, Zhouxian, Wang Chonghui, Qingyun, Zhu Jiahua, Xia Jinlin (夏晉麟)[1], Yang Gongda, Lou Tongsun, Zhang Fengjiu, Tianjuan, Fanny, Kitty, Zhongxiong (Fu Zhongxiong 傅仲熊)[2], Minqin, Bingkun, Qiongfang, Jinpei, Situ Chao (司徒朝)[3], Yu Hongjun, Huimei and others.
In the evening, the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited us to watch films. I met Admiral William Standley. He said he would go to Moscow and meet me there for a long talk. He also said that he had been to China. He held a good impression of China and hoped he could help us in the future. Baggalay (Cousellor, Britain); Sigismund Zawadowski (Counsellor, Poland), Fatin Ruski Zorlu (Counsellor ,Turkey), Vice Commissar S.A. Lozovsky, & with A.P. Pavlov, Director of the Law Department, F.F. Molochkov, Director of Protocol Dept. & N.M. Lifanov, Director of the Far Eastern Department.
