Information Bulletin which is an English journal organised by the Polish Committee of National Liberation here, published in the current issue “The Oder is a Polish River”, demanding Pomeranian Poland be given back to Poland. It recounted its history as well as the necessity of having the land for national defence. This could prove that what the Soviet Union advocates is slicing up Germany.
In Roosevelt’s broadcast yesterday, he said that he would never welcome the patronage of the Communist Party.
The news from the French side said that the French Communist Party has started to feel unhappy with De Gaulle and criticised him. They said he was such an authoritarian that he was just like Napoleon after the French Revolution. (The Secretary of the French Communist Party Jacques Duclos said.)
In the past few days the British Army landed in Greece. They have made progress in advancement and have occupied Palias harbour.
In the afternoon I went to the stadium to watch a football match. It was a match between the British military delegation, British Embassy personnel and the Soviet side. The British side was defeated. In the evening we went to watch Swan Lake.
