Heavy snow, cold

The telegrams from Liquan and the Foreign Ministry mentioned the rebellion of people in Ili and Guihua. This matter could be very serious. I was deeply worried.

In the afternoon I went with Attaché Hu to the second-hand shop. There was nothing worthwhile buying.

In the evening I went to the American Embassy to watch a movie. It was a war movie, which was just mediocre.
