Xie Baoqiao won some two hundred thousand francs in Monte Carlo, therefore he invited us to have afternoon tea and dinner. I went to his home in Paris with Kitty. Zhongxiong and Chengyong joined us, as well as his wife, then we went for afternoon tea. At half past seven we went to Chez L’Ami Louis, 32 rue de Vert-Bois, Paris 3eme (Tel 77.48). We had lobsters and wild meats. The food was just common but it was quite expensive. We were seven people in total and it cost 14,000 francs. Afterwards we went to Paris Café to chat and did not return home until twelve.
