In the morning I went to the park in the countryside by car, with Military Attaché Guo De quan (郭德權) and Secretary Yin. The park was quite big, but it was a pity that it was rather dilapidated because of the war. The scenery was quite nice.

In the evening, Counsellor Liu invited us to see a drama called Baifeixin. It was about an old-fashioned woman forbidding her daughter to have a boyfriend. She wanted her to marry a rich but mentally-retarded boy. But her daughter insisted. At the end this girl still managed to have the boyfriend and it had a happy ending. It was a comedy. Quite good.
