Tang Chuanzhong (唐傳中) came to talk with me about the industrial conditions of Taiwan. He agreed to lend me his car to travel to various places in Taizhong and Tainan.

Deputy President, Xie Guansheng, organized a luncheon for me at the Judicial Building. After lunch, Shi Shangkuan took me back to House of Freedom and we chatted for a long while.

In the afternoon, I went to the National Taiwan University hospital with Tan Baoshen to visit Wang Chonghui. Wang’s condition is quite bad, and the doctor said he is afraid Wang’s cause is hopeless. I feel so very sad.

In the evening Secretary General, Zhang Qun, invited me for a banquet at his residence.
