Lou Tongsun invited us for lunch to celebrate his son’s first birthday. Fanny felt insulted when a separate invitation was sent to her. I think Lou and his wife are going too far and I do not blame Fanny for not going to the party. Long talk with He Xu (何遂)[1] after lunch.
