The Political Committee of the United Nations General Assembly passed the motion of condemning the CCP by forty-four votes to seven (including India and Burma). Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sweden, Syria, Yemen, Yugoslavia abstained from voting. Britain, Canada and others really followed the United States to vote in support of the motion.
After two Communists council members resigned in Italy, it is rumored that the internal situation of the Italian Communist Party is unstable. The different factions of the Italian Communists are complicated, and this was expected.
