The day before yesterday, Pravda published a Government proclamation concerning the two-year anniversary of the Soviet-German war. At the end, it emphasised that it was necessary for Britain and the United States to open the second war zone this year. The Soviet Union still thinks that the second war zone will not be opened this year.

By learning Russian, I have learnt a little bit more about their ways. For example friend was “Npurte”, enemy was “Henpurte” (non-friend). I asked my teacher in a jokey manner, saying that “non-friend” was “enemy”, and my teacher replied very naturally as yes. So we can see in that race there was no middle road.
