Fine, sun

In the morning, the Central News Agency British representative came to talk to me, saying that when he was in Sevastopol he spoke to the German prisoners. The prisoners said they still believed the German army will score a victory. This time because of a lack of manpower to the East line the German army had to retreat. If the war is one-sided, Germany certainly will lose the war. Furthermore, the war line is too long. A German military officer had a head injury. When he was asked for the reason, he said it was not injured in the war. It was caused by a Red Army bayonet when he surrendered. At the time he had already fallen, but luckily, a Soviet officer came, and only then was he able to survive. All in all, the impression he got was that the German army’s morale remains very high. They still believe in Hitler and the German Government, and that they can score the final victory. They still look down upon the Soviet people.

Military Attaché Guo, when the Soviet military department received the Yugoslavian representative the Minister of the War Office (Russian name, refer to original) told him that he himself has long been sympathetic to China and his wife also studied Chinese, but he has felt that recently China has turned cold towards the Soviet Union and Soviet advisors have been forced to return. As a matter of fact, the Soviet Union definitely has no aggressive ambitions towards China, and the Soviet army could help China in many ways. Though the United States can help China materially, this time the Red Army has had a lot of fighting experience which could offer help in areas that the United States cannot. Based on this, relations between China and the Soviet Union have turned sour. I feel very worried.
