I replied to Fanny’s letter and my tone was mild, I hope she will be able to understand. I also wrote to Qian Tai, Chen Weicheng and Tangwu. The Afghanistan Ambassador rang me to say that the Soviet Government has already asked him to inform the Diplomatic Corps to prepare to move back to Moscow.
