The American General Staff Office publicized the full text minutes of the meeting between President Truman and General MacArthur on Wake Island. In it MacArthur estimated that Soviet air force has around 1,200 or 1,300 airplanes in the Far East, and their pilots are quite capable. But Soviet Union does not have any army troops to dispatch to Korea. He also spoke of the difficulty of the Soviet army getting into the Korean War.
