I went to the newly-opened Cantonese restaurant (12) with Zhongxiong and Zhiwei. We had dim sum and then walked around the market.

In the evening President Xie Yingzhou invited us for dinner at Xilinmen at Chengdu Road. Zhongxiong came with me. Mr and Mrs. Yu Hanmou, Mr and Mrs Ma Chaojun, Liang Hancao and Chen Yiyun(陳逸雲) and others were present. After dinner, I went to the book bazaar to buy second-hand novels.

Zhongxiong and Zhiwei reported about how they were in liaison with Datong Company, and concerning the agent overseeing pineapple and bamboo shoots sales in Europe.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Ding came to discuss the situation of renting a house. She showed me two houses.
