Snow, cold
From 11.00 to 1.30 I studied Russian.
At 3.00 in the afternoon the British military delegation invited me to watch movies. The military movies as well as the general movies were fine.
Secretary Litvinov held a banquet at the National Hotel to bid farewell to Shaozhou. It was of great rarity that the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs would bid farewell to someone. On returning home I learnt from the broadcast that the Soviet Government announced Litvinov to be Minister to Australia. Litvinov is really able to keep a secret.
