In the afternoon, the Swedish Minister visited me and he said Satō was still sick, and from the information he had gathered a lot of the young Japanese army officers were unhappy with the present Japanese Government, and they reckoned that it was bad policy not to help Germany. He also talked about the relationship between the Soviets and Sweden.

At 7.00 p.m. the Ambassador of Greece visited me.
