The American government declared that before the Allied Army crosses the 38th parallel they will have negotiations with the belligerent countries. General MacArthur said it was still too soon before massive troop numbers would cross the 38th parallel.
The French Prime Minister, René Pleven, and the Italian Prime Minister, Alcide De Gasperi, discussed various issues concerning cooperation between the two countries at the San Margarita Conference. After this war, both France and Italy feel that they should cooperate. From now on, in terms of politics and economy, the two countries will draw closer.
