I studied Italian on my own. I found that I had made progress.

News from Tokyo emerged that the Japanese government intends to send a visiting delegation to Taiwan, which would be led by Inukai Tsuyoshi (犬養毅)[1](sic). This was quite reasonable.

[1] Inukai Tsuyoshi (1855-1932) was a politician in Japan who had many connections with people from the revolutionaries. Here Fu Bingchang might refer to someone related to Inukai Tsuyoshi.
