I installed a big bookshelf in the cellar of the restaurant to accommodate my books removed from Sartrouville. If I told my friends in China that I read the poetries of Dao Fu at the coffee shops along streets of Paris and set up my library in the cellar of my kitchen, they would laugh at my craziness. As a matter of fact, this is not a lie. If it were not for the various awful things Kitty imposes on me I thought I could enjoy such a way of living.

With regard to Soviet economic competition in the Near East and Far East, the American side has also expressed its worry. It is because agricultural products which were exported by India and the Near East, as well as the kerosene of the Near Eastern countries were all not needed by the American side. But the Soviet Union can buy all these things.
