Today is the birthday of Baoqiao, therefore I invited him to have dinner at my home.

Liu Kai telephoned to give me the voting results of the Political Committee of the United Nations with regard to the bill of indictment to the Soviet Union.  It was passed by twenty-four votes against nine. This could be taken as a success for our delegation.
