Yesterday the German army began its offensive on the middle line. It is one of the biggest tank warfares. The Soviet broadcast said that within one day yesterday, the Germans have lost 600 tanks (mainly 600 ton “tiger-style”), and over 200 airplanes.  So, we can imagine how fierce the battle was.

Military Attaché Guo and Vice Military Attaché Li wrangled over using the car. I tried my best to mediate.
