Sun Dangyue, Section Director of Higher Education, in the Ministry of Education, visited me. He has recently been appointed to be a Commissioner at the Chinese Embassy in Paris. I talked with him about the latest situation in France. I urged him to be in touch Gou Youshou more frequently, and to talk with Sun about his work.

Mr. Li Shizeng came to visit.  We chatted freely for two hours. He also advocates that under the current international situation we should pay attention to economic development. I asked him the date that he had married Ms.Tian Baotian (田寶田). He said that what the newspapers had published was not completely true.

In the afternoon, I visited Wang Chonghui. He is making good progress.
