Twentieth day of the first lunar month

At 9.30 p.m., the train arrived at Kuibyshev. The Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent their director of Communications and others, Counsellor Liu and Military officer Guo and the people from the Embassy came to the train station to welcome me. We took the car to the Embassy to inspect the rooms and luggage. After taking a bath, by the time I went to bed it was already 1.30 a.m.
