Dry, sun

In the current issue of War and Working Class magazine there was an article criticising the British newspaper The Observer advocating great Europeanism and challenging the leadership of the Big Four. The article said that the idea of the said British newspaper was only imitating those of the Munich clique. From this one can see the Soviet Union wholeheartedly supporting the policy of the Moscow Conference. I felt very happy.

In the evening, Attaché Hu reported what she saw in Romania. The report shows that the Soviet army were very careful with their movements in the occupied areas, and are trying to implement their government’s policy of non-interference. Also, the armies led hard lives and had no daily necessities, but they absolutely did not envy people in the occupied areas whose lives were better than theirs. They only looked down on the people there for not trying their best in production work. (These were Hu’s impressions after talking to a Red Army female transportation soldier.) Such results coming from Soviet political training is admirable.
