I am slightly better today, but I still feel weak. The best I can do is to continue to take drugs.

At 10:30 in the evening Zhongxiong and Zhiwei returned. They reported on what happened during their trip to the south. Tang Chuanzhong is quite an honest person. I feel that for the sugar factory we need his cooperation.

I received a letter from Shaohua. He said that he did not have anything to say criticizing Tai Sugar. Nevertheless Lin Zhaoting (林照庭) spoke openly. He said quite a lot of things that were unfavorable to our government. (Lin said the National Government of Taiwan is no different from the National Government on the Mainland; that one only needed to use a small amount of money to ask a person to betray any good friend.) Therefore for Tai Sugar it should be clear who was friend and who was enemy. He also agreed with Hu Baihua’s suggestion that it could be considered.
