近代春秋TIS（Timelines Information System）系統，是由近史所數位資料庫小組開發的新型態資料庫，提供以時間軸為搜尋關鍵，資料內容貫穿兩百年來的近代史，以《中華民國史事日誌》、《蔣公大事長編初稿》等精確可靠的史料為經緯，輔以近代名人日記，如《徐永昌日記》、《王世杰日記》等，提供從各個面向觀察歷史的可能。
本系統目前持續建置中，未來將陸續彙集各類名人書信、文集、歷史圖像、報刊等史料提供檢索。
The Modern Annals TIS System (Timelines Information System) is a new type of database started by the Modern History Institute DataBases team. It offers a timeline as the key search method. The content covers two hundred years of modern history and takes as its principle accurate and reliable historical sources, the Daily Records of the History of the Republic of China, and the Detailed Preliminary Draft of Major Events in the Life of Chiang Kai-shek. These are supplemented with modern diaries by famous persons such as The Diary of Hsu Yung-chang and The Diary of Wang Shih-chieh, and so forth. The Timeline offers the possibility of examining history from many different angles.
操作說明：How to use:
一般檢索：
a. 選擇曆法，有陽曆（西元）、陰曆、干支三種方式。
b. 選擇要搜尋的時間，年月日可以自由選擇，但最多顯示5000筆；欲得到更精確的搜尋結果，需縮小搜尋時段。
c. 如果要附帶搜尋內文時，請在「開始搜尋」旁的檢索框輸入關鍵字。
d. 開始搜尋。
e. 也可以不設定日期，直接輸入關鍵字搜尋全文；或只設定日期，直接搜尋內容。
進階檢索：
以and、or、not布林邏輯檢索，查詢兩個以上的關鍵字。
2.設定搜尋範圍
選擇「設定」，可勾選搜尋的範圍。
3.統計搜尋結果
a.搜尋後，畫面左側會出現依書目及年代的結果統計。
b.按下書名或年代，可以顯示特定書目或年代的內容。
c.在搜尋結果中按下
，可進入時間軸介面。按下
，可直接瀏覽本日所有資料。4.時間軸

瀏覽前後日的內容。c.時間軸介面下方圖示：可以直接點選要瀏覽的日期。
d.時間軸介面最下方選項：勾選書目後，按右邊的「對照」，可以對照同一時段其他書籍的內容。
5.資料庫連結
a.在搜尋結果按下
，可依據搜尋的關鍵字或日期，直接連結胡適、圖書館及檔案館資料庫。b.按下相關人物中的人名，可連往人物資訊整合系統，查詢人物資料。
